Davis County Fair…

Today we decided to go to the Davis County Fair. I got everyone up and ready to go by 10:30….okay, it took me until 11:00…but, I do have four kids to take care of.

{Wesley: One month new (5 weeks) His skin is clearing and he is quite alert!}

At the fair there were lots of activities; a beanbag toss for animal crackers and ice cold water bottles, leggo spinners that you could create art on.SONY DSC
…A giant sand box, air powered ball play…SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSCThe kids pet a snake and a lizard and got reptile stamps on their hands, and saw some big turtles…

They did lots of flips and slides on the tumbling equipment…Thomas spent 30 minutes just sliding and flipping while his sisters got their faces painted…SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSC SONY DSCSONY DSC SONY DSCThey decorated masks and we ate chips and cheese (thanks to Grandma) and got ice cream ($3 for three baby bowls for the kids–raspberry cheesecake, cotton candy, and cookies n’ cream that Thomas and I shared.)

But she won a bag from a prize wheel.}

Yes, there was a camel. (And a pony, llama, and donkey…)

It was an awesome day at the Davis County Fair. I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the State Fair. This one was far more fun and only cost me $5 total! (I got $3 parking with a canned food donation).¬†

About stacey

I am the Mom of two young, rambunctious girls, a curious little boy, and a wee little man who is bursting with joy for life. I just wanted to do something for myself that allowed me to harness the magical moments of being a Mom. (A job that sometimes feels thankless, misunderstood, and considered easy by those that haven't done it.) I wanted to be more positive by looking more closely at the good things that happen every day via photos and my thoughts.
