It’s fall, and am a lover of (almost) all things pumpkin!
So, I was inspired to have a…
Pumpkin baking and making Day:
All while drinking pumpkin tea.
The play dough was a big hit and allowed me to bake the muffins and dog treats in peace.
I have also been working on a project that has been a long time coming. Since I have been trying lots of new recipes for the past year and have found some that we really love, my recipe book has been getting over-full. So, I decided to make a new one. It is completely my style…functional, quirky, imperfect, and colorful. I’m pretty proud of it. (It took some time!) I simply used a binder and page protectors for 8×11 sheets of paper that I attached recipes to using washi tape. These can be taken out to be added to or used. They can be rearranged easily, and are in protectors so that they don’t get super dirty. The binder allows for expansion and new categories. I made tabs with little bits of scrapbook paper and packing tape to attach to the scrapbook paper category pages. Check it out:
I love it when I can dive head first into cooking/baking and meal planning.
